Post 10 Snowy Days

Post 10 Snowy Days

I hope you are having a great time during these snow days!
As you know, Friday was a Free Snow Day for 4-C. There is nothing like having a day to relax and play in the snow. The only thing you needed to accomplish was to take your Spelling Test and printing your certificate (if you have a printer). If you forgot, please take the test today.

You should have all you need for working on your second snow day. I sent home a packet with directions for Monday.
Here are the directions, just in case:

Snow Day Homework for 4-C

Friday:
1.    Please take the Words Their Way Spelling Blue/Green 12 Test. It can be taken on-line at Spelling City. Please print out a certificate, if you are able. If not, we can print it out when the girls get back to school. In the event the girls are without Internet, they should have a responsible adult dictate the test and bring it back to school.

The first Snow Day is a free day, with only the spelling test to be completed.

Monday:
1.    Spelling Words Blue/Green 13  Please write words using cursive writing in your homework journal. Then write them two times in your Spelling Journal. Don’t forget to head your pages.

2. Wordly Wise Review for Lessons 9-12.
Please do pp. 133, 134, 135

        3. Daily Geography Handout:  Please do the Monday           questions.

            4.  Poetry:
Please read over poem two or three times and begin
            memorizing for Friday.

January

January
Now is here --
A fine new start
For a whole new year.
The snow comes down
In the dark of night.
When we awake
The world is white.
In January
When there's snow,
We get our sleds
And away we go.

5.  Look for gold/white cheer rally outfit items that you may already have. Set them somewhere, so that you can have them ready for the Cheer Rally on Fri. Jan. 29th.

6. Math Skills Practice  (Odds Only) If we are out on Tuesday, please do the evens also.
